You know we had to get some Hawkeye pics.

I love the look on Holden’s face.

Another Birthday Party For Jaxson

We had Jaxson’s birthday party with all of our family this past Sunday.  We are so thankful that everyone was able to help him celebrate.  It was a bit warm outside so we spent most of the time inside.  Thank you to all of our wonderful family for helping make Jaxson’s birthday so special.

Jaxson wanted a Diego party this year.

I made Jaxson’s birthday cake again this year.  This was the hardest one I’ve done yet because of all of the different colors.  I think it took me around six hours, which is twice as long as it normally takes.

Even four-day-old Alexandria made it to the party.  Four generations of beautiful women here.

Block Party

This year we hosted our annual block party, which was on Saturday night.  The weather was a little hot, but once the sun went down it was perfect.  We were able to block off the street so the kids and the adults had fun playing out in the street.  Jaxson and all of his neighbor friends had fun riding their bikes and his jeep and jumping in the jump house.  The adults had fun playing bags in the street and chatting with our neighbors.  Everyone brought food to share and Brad did a great job with all of the grilling.  By the end of the night, Jaxson was even elected as Mayor of 53rd Place.  The neighbors decided that since he knows everyone and is a good representation of the street, that he should be the mayor. . . too funny 🙂

We put a swing up in the garage for Holden.  I think he likes it.

Yep, he likes it.

Holden picking on Jaxson

This is how I found Holden one morning. He LOVES to have his burp rag on his head.

Jaxson says, "Mommy, I want to keep Holden all night morning."  Which means all of the time. 🙂

So cute

Alexandria Lynn Main

Tanya and Heath welcomed their beautiful baby girl on August 18th, 2010 at 1:11 am.  She was 7 lbs 7 oz and 20 1/2 inches long.  Alexandria and Tanya are both doing very well.  We have gotten to see her several times and they even made it to Jaxson’s birthday party on Sunday after only being home for two days.  We look forward to watching her grow up with the boys.

Meeting Alexandria for the first time.

Happy 4th Birthday Jaxson!!

Jaxson turned 4 on August 19th.  I can not believe it!  It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital.  He has brought us so much joy and laughter in the past four years. He has amazed us at how big he is getting physically and mentally.  He is becoming quite mature and independent for a four-year-old and I love it!  This kid is simply amazing and yes, I am biased 🙂  We had Jaxson’s birthday party with his friends on his birthday at Ashby Park.  He had nine friends come and celebrate with him and they had a great time.

Holden had fun too

Oh how we can’t wait to show this to them when they are older 🙂

Are these two ever apart?  No

This was Jaxson’s birthday present from Mommy and Daddy!

The kids have played in it everyday so far.  I think we’ve already gotten our money worth.

Hapy 4th Birthday Jack!

Jaxson’s best friend, Jack, turned four on August 11th.  His birthday party was held at Backyard Adventures.  I can’t believe our babies are turning 4!

Happy Birthday Jack!
